In order to utilise synergies and expand the range of courses on offer, Paderborn University (UPB) cooperates with the Detmold University of Music (HfM), the Ostwestfalen-Lippe University of Applied Sciences (TU OWL) and the Paderborn Faculty of Theology.

Applicants who would like to study a degree programme offered at UPB must apply for full membership or “Gro?e Zweith?rerschaft” at UPB in accordance with the respective cooperation agreement:

Are you studying at a partner university and would like to take part in individual UPB courses?

Students of the HfM Detmold can take part in the "Kleine Zweith?rerschaft" within the framework of a co-operation agreement and attend courses in the following degree programmes/subject areas:

  • Music (subject area in all teaching programmes except teaching at grammar schools and comprehensive schools)
  • Musicology (B.A., M.A. or subject area in the two-subject Bachelor's/two-subject Master's programme)
  • PopMedia Culture (M.A.)

Students of the Faculty of Theology Paderborn can take the "Kleine Zweith?rerschaft" within the framework of a co-operation agreement and take courses in the following degree programmes/subject areas:

  • Business Ethics (subject area in the B.Sc. in Economics)
  • Philosophy (subject area in the two-subject Bachelor's/two-subject Master's programme)
