On 25 and 26 July, Paderborn University will welcome representatives from the COLOURS partner universities for a two-day alliance meeting. Among the guests are senior representatives at rectorate level (rectors and vice-rectors) as well as one student representative from each partner university in Croatia, Poland, Italy, North Macedonia, and Ukraine. Together with UPB colleagues, who are also actively involved in the COLOURS Alliance, they will discuss the future of European universities.
At the heart of the meeting is a scenario workshop exploring four possible futures for European universities. Participants will identify risks, opportunities, and strategies to prepare the COLOURS Alliance for changing research priorities and funding policies. The workshop will also focus on defining the unique strengths and competitive advantages of the alliance.
On the second day, participants will consolidate the insights gained and translate them into concrete approaches for the further development of COLOURS. Additional working sessions will help deepen collaboration within the alliance and ensure its long-term impact.
