On Thursday, April 24, 2025, the Welcome Services hosted a Quiz Night in the new room of the Jenny Aloni Network. Working in pairs, participants tackled 40 tricky questions covering topics such as geography, music, art, culture, and quirky facts – facing both minor and major challenges along the way. On Monday, March 3, the Welcome Services hosted a group cinema outing with a unique twist: participants did not know in advance which film would be shown, as it was an English-language sneak preview. The selected film, The Critic, was met with a largely positive response from the audience. The event provided an enjoyable opportunity for socialising and a welcome break during the seasonal transition from winter to spring.
Last Friday, December 6th, the Welcome Services hosted a visit to the Christmas market, bringing this year’s event program to a festive close. Despite the chilly weather, a small but cheerful group enjoyed the holiday atmosphere in Paderborn’s city centre and took the opportunity to exchange thoughts about the upcoming holiday season.The chilly weather faded away with the warmth of mulled wine and the delight of delicious food.

Last Thursday, November 21, 2024, the Welcome Services for International Researchers and Employees hosted a "Cozy Season Potluck." In a small and pleasant gathering, participants enjoyed the dishes they had brought and shared their thoughts on the upcoming holiday season.
